Clinical competencies include assessing and diagnosing conditions through the use of tests and procedures, and ultimately developing an evidence-based plan of treatment that may include pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.

Prepare to provide independent general care as a registered nurse (RN) for families across a range of ages and ailments. Deepen your skills in family theory and intervention, role synthesis, family primary care, nursing practice and health care policy, holistic practice, pediatric practice, gerontological practice, health assessment, clinical pharmacotherapeutics, clinical techniques and pathophysiology. The certificate program consists of 36 credit hours.
