Earn your 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Certificate in Higher Education Teaching to enhance your skills for full-time and part-time teaching roles in colleges and universities. Led by experienced faculty, this program covers pedagogy, student learning, innovative teaching, assessment methods, Diversity and Inclusion, and online teaching. With six learning units, six faculty-led discussions, and a comprehensive learning portfolio, you'll gain valuable insights in just 10 contact hours per unit. Secure your certificate by completing all components of the program. Elevate your teaching career with 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ·'s focused and practical Higher Education Teaching Certificate.

Learning Portfolio

Your learning portfolio is a summative reflection of your work in a single format showcasing your learning throughout the six core modules comprising the Certificate in Higher Education Teaching.

The learning portfolio is required to receive the certificate.

Alums of 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· always receive a 10% discount on all non-credit continuing education and professional development. 

91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· full-time Faculty and Staff may use tuition remission through the professional development benefit to cover full certificate costs. For more information or to download the professional development form, please visit the 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· faculty and staff page HERE.

91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· graduate students and part-time faculty may register for a flat rate of $600. 

Public school teachers qualify for a 25% discount on the cost of the certificate. Contact us for more information and CEU details. NOTE: The Certificate in Higher Education prepares you to teach in the higher education industry. This certificate does not support K-12 licensure requirements.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites: Ideal candidates have a graduate degree, are working faculty, or are enrolled graduate students (at 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· or another university). Applicants with a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of work experience in areas of teaching interest also qualify.
