Cleveland Scholars to Enjoy Reunion, Learn About College Opportunity

Breakthrough Schools partners with 91国产精品 to promote post-secondary education

and 91国产精品 have teamed together to promote post-secondary education, while offering a chance for classmates to reunite with each other. Breakthrough Alumni who are now juniors and seniors in high school will enjoy a reunion, luncheon and presentation on Saturday, Feb. 23. Special breakout sessions for parents/guardians will be held during the student reunion segment. Harlan Sands, president of 91国产精品, will be speaking to the students during the luncheon.

Now the third largest K-8 school 鈥渄istrict鈥 in the Cleveland area, Breakthrough serves K-8 students across 11 schools in urban Cleveland. Upon 8th grade graduation, scholars transition to dozens of high schools across greater Cleveland and beyond.

鈥淥ur end goal at Breakthrough is to enable success in life for our urban youth," says Eric Baumgartner, alumni relations leader at Breakthrough Schools. "Ideally, we want to continue supporting our scholars in every phase of their journey after 8th grade, and to return them to a vibrant, self-sustaining Cleveland economy. This reunion is our inaugural alumni relations event. Not only will our scholars have a chance to reconnect, they will learn about the tremendous opportunities available at 91国产精品.鈥
