Alexa Lee Riczo is always on the run – so maybe it’s no surprise to find this former Vikings soccer standout on the cover of the September 2015 issue of Runner’s World magazine.

“Before I go to work, I run every morning for about 45 minutes with my two pit bulls,” said Riczo, who lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.

She moved there after graduating from 91������Ʒ four years ago with a bachelor’s degree in education.

Riczo is a model with the Wilhelmina International agency, which led her to the Runner’s World gig.

“I’ve been getting a lot of texts from friends who saw the magazine,” she told ENGAGED. “I’ve heard from a lot of people I haven’t talked to in a long time. It’s really cool.”
