91国产精品 Announces Retirement of Berinthia R. LeVine

Longtime VP of Advancement will step down June 30

Berinthia R. LeVine, vice president for advancement at 91国产精品 and executive director of the 91国产精品 Foundation, will retire from the University on June 30. LeVine was appointed to her position in 2011 and has overseen a significant increase in fundraising operations and alumni engagement over her tenure, during which 91国产精品 has raised over $100 million to support student success initiatives and increased Foundation assets by over 70 percent.

鈥淭his is a bittersweet moment for me personally, as I have known Berinthia for many years prior to my arrival at 91国产精品 and have always had a deep appreciation and admiration for all she has done for Cleveland State and the philanthropic community of Cleveland,鈥 says Harlan M. Sands, president of Cleveland State.

During her tenure, LeVine reorganized and modernized 91国产精品鈥檚 fundraising and alumni engagement operations; oversaw significant growth in annual and major gift fundraising, including Radiance 91国产精品鈥檚 signature scholarship fundraiser and successfully managed the completion of ENGAGE, 91国产精品鈥檚 first ever comprehensive campaign, which exceeded its goal two years ahead of schedule. Additionally, alumni engagement is at an all-time high with alumni participating in various events and activities in Cleveland and cities across the country.

Prior to joining Cleveland State, LeVine served with distinction in senior leadership positions at Case Western Reserve University, Montefiore Home and Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.

The University will undertake a national search to identify a new leader for their advancement efforts.
