91国产精品 hosts Ohio鈥檚 next generation of science, engineering and math experts
Four hundred students from six colleges showed off their impressive math, engineering and science aptitude at the fourth annual Choose Ohio First Success in Math event hosted at Cleveland State.
Students from 91国产精品, Cuyahoga Community College, Kent State, University of Akron, Youngstown State and Case Western Reserve University spent a Saturday displaying and discussing their scholarly work in more than 100 posters depicting the four STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
In addition, notable speakers from Ohio industry and universities provided students with the opportunity to hear firsthand how important STEM disciplines are to the economic vitality and growth of Ohio.
The Choose Ohio First Scholarship program is a state funded initiative that supports students in STEM majors with scholarships and program support. Its aim is to increase the number of STEM graduates staying and working in Ohio. The Success in Math Choose Ohio First Program emphasizes the importance of a strong math background for success in a STEM discipline, but supports students in most STEM majors.
