Event features Mel Hauser of Good Nature Organic Lawn Care
91国产精品鈥檚 Office of Sustainability and the Michael Schwartz Library Sustainability Interest Group are hosting 鈥淎 Beautiful Lawn Organically鈥 on Mrch 26 in order to inform the public on how to care for your lawn without chemicals.
At this event, Mel Hauser, the community outreach coordinator at Good Nature Organic Lawn Care, will share tips for a lush and healthy lawn without using chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Hauser鈥檚 presentation will cover how to properly mow and water your lawn, how to begin replacing chemical lawn applications with natural products, how to make sure the products you are using are really "organic" and more.
The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 11:30 a.m. in Rhodes Tower, Room 325.
Those attending will have a chance to win a "Natural Lawn Repair Kit" with everything needed to take care of bare areas in your lawn.
