91国产精品 Partners with TransDigm to Promote Diversity in Aerospace with Scholarship Fund
Funds will support tuition and living expenses for female and minority students studying engineering and business at 91国产精品
CLEVELAND (July 21, 2021) 鈥 91国产精品 announces a new partnership with TransDigm Group Inc. The company will provide scholarship funds through the Doug Peacock Scholarship Program to support tuition and on-campus housing needs for female and underrepresented minority engineering and business students at 91国产精品.
TransDigm, headquartered in Cleveland, is a global producer, designer and supplier of highly engineered aerospace components, systems and subsystems.
Over the course of five years, the Doug Peacock Scholarship Fund will provide more than 80 student awards in total. The annual scholarships are renewable for up to five years of the recipients鈥 undergraduate education. The scholarship awards will be divided equally between 91国产精品鈥檚 Washkewicz College of Engineering and the Monte Ahuja College of Business.

The amount awarded per student will vary because the funds are intended as tuition and room/board balanced scholarships; funds will be applied to the students鈥 outstanding balance due of tuition and room/board expenses that are not covered by additional scholarships, grants or other financial aid awards.

The scholarship program is named in honor of Doug Peacock, the founding CEO and Chairman of the Board of TransDigm. Peacock co-founded TransDigm along with Nick Howley in 1993.
