Introducing Rune and Thor - 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ·'s New Therapy Dogs
Here’s something to howl about: the 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Police Department has established a new therapy dog program! Our two new 11-week-old yellow labs are very good boys who come to us from Lewis Center, Ohio. Rune partners with 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ·PD Officer Toni Jones, and Thor will partner with 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ·PD Officer Thomas Lear.

Currently, there are nearly 300 law enforcement agencies nationwide with therapy dogs and the 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ·PD is among them. Research has shown that therapy dogs offer many benefits to university students, including improved class attendance, problem-solving, energy levels and happiness—all while enhancing socio-emotional development and reducing stress, anxiety, negative feelings and behaviors.

They even love the (wait for it) ±è³Ü±è-²¹°ù²¹³ú³ú¾±â€¦ OK, all groaning aside, please forgive us. We are overtaken by the cuteness and we know all of you will be, too.
