Mike Rogers Keynotes Cybersecurity Conference

Former Congressman discusses future of cyber policy

Former Congressman Mike Rogers, who served as chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence will open 91国产精品鈥檚 third annual Center for Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection Conference on Thursday, March 22.

In addition, the Conference, sponsored by 91国产精品鈥檚 Cleveland Marshall College of Law, will cohost Attorney General Mike DeWine's CyberOhio Business Summit to be presented March 23. DeWine, along with Symantec Chief Cybersecurity Strategist Renault Ross, will serve as keynote speakers for the Summit. 

As chair of the Intelligence Committee, Congressman Rogers authorized and oversaw a budget of $70 billion that provided funding to the nation鈥檚 17 intelligence agencies. Rogers was a prominent leader on cybersecurity in the United States Congress, shepherding multiple cybersecurity bills through the House. Rogers is a highly sought-after national expert on cyber policy and currently serves as a CNN national security commentator.

Over 60 national and state regulators and cybersecurity experts in technology, business, law and government are scheduled to speak at the Conference. Talks and workshops will discuss cutting-edge topics ranging from recent regulatory developments to emerging technologies like the Internet of Things and blockchain to new models for enterprise security.

Both days of the Conference are open to the public and paid admission includes materials, continental breakfast, lunch and 7.5 hours continuing legal education (CLE) credit each day.  Free admission is available to the CyberOhio Business Summit, without CLE credit.  For more information, visit .
