Professor Bob Abelman Named Best Critic in Ohio
Professor Bob Abelman, Ph.D., of 91国产精品 has been named best critic in Ohio by the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists.
Dr. Abelman, a professor of media arts and technology in the 91国产精品 School of Communication, is the theater critic for Cleveland Jewish News, which this year won a total of seven Ohio SPJ Awards. His reviews also run in several other local newspapers, including The News-Herald and The Morning Journal.
鈥淭he award is a real honor because there are so many good critics, especially here in Northeast Ohio,鈥 Dr. Abelman said. 鈥淐leveland Jewish News is doing good journalism, and it鈥檚 great to be a part of that, too.鈥
Dr. Abelman won first place in the Ohio SPJ鈥檚 Best of Show category. The awards ceremony was held in August in Columbus.
