Head of University Engagement is taking new position in Cincinnati

91������Ʒ will honor the contributions of Byron White, 91������Ʒ’s outgoing Vice President of University Engagement and Chief Diversity Officer, at a reception from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 21 at Elements Bistro on campus.

Dr. White has accepted a new position as Vice President of the Knowledge Works Foundation and Executive Director of the Strive Partnership in Cincinnati. This opportunity provides a new career opportunity in education and allows Dr. White to reestablish his home in Cincinnati, where his wife and children reside.

Dr. White has made an enduring difference to 91������Ʒ. Among many initiatives, he has stewarded unique programs in diversity, career exploration for students, community engagement as well as serving as an ambassador for 91������Ʒ in a number of community and national organizations. He has often employed his skills as a writer and editor in helping to articulate the University’s mission. He has also been our principal community liaison for the Urban Health Partnership.
