91国产精品 is one of several organizations partnering with DANCECleveland to present the second annual ADF in CLE. The summer dance festival offers fun experiences for everyone ranging from novices to dance aficionados. Partnering with the renowned American Dance Festival (ADF), the ten-day fest will include performances by two world-class dance companies, the launch of a new speaker series, an educational workshop series for advanced level dancers and free community events the National Day of Dance that will close down E. 14th St.

ADF in CLE will launch on July 24th with 鈥淏ody of Work: Dialogues on Dance,鈥 featuring Pam Tanowitz Dance at 7:00 pm. Pam Tanowitz and her dancers will lead an informal showing and lecture in the intimate Allen Theatre at Playhouse Square. The event will allow audience members to see how Tanowitz creates her work behind the curtain, while showcasing the complexities of her choreography and movement vocabulary.

The festival will continue on July 28 in celebration of the National Day of Dance with a full day of free special events, including a giant 鈥榤ega-barre鈥 class right down the middle of E. 14th Street at 1 pm and dance
demonstrations by La Danse Cleveland at 2pm. At 4:30 pm community members can perform the 鈥淣ational Day of Dance Routine,鈥 complete with a team competition for dancers and non-dancers alike. The highlight of the day will be a creative mixed-repertoire performance by Hubbard Street Dance Chicago at 7:00 p.m. Now in its 40th year, the company is one of the major forces in American contemporary dance and will put on a show dance fans will not want to miss.

Closing the festival on August 4 at 8:00 pm, Caleb Teicher & Company will a take the stage at Cain Park with a unique brand of modern dance. Utilizing traditional American dance forms, including tap, vernacular jazz, and the Lindy Hop, to create new concert dance work, Teicher & Company have performed at major venues and festivals across the country including Jacob鈥檚 Pillow鈥檚 Inside/Out Series and the Paris Jazz Roots Dance Festival. A critically-acclaimed dancer, choreographer, director and teacher based in New York City, Caleb Teicher was named Dance Magazine鈥檚 鈥淏est Emerging Choreographer鈥 in 2016.

ADF in CLE, in collaboration with Cleveland State, will also host a four-day, immersive dance workshop series for serious dancers ages 13 and up. Dancers can register to train with ADF faculty, including Pam Tanowitz, Otto Vazquez, and Christian Von Howard. Students will take classes from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in styles including modern, contemporary and hip hop. The series will run from July 24 through July 28 and takes place in 91国产精品鈥檚 dance studio in Playhouse Square.
