Applications to 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· surged 67 percent between the 2011-2012 academic year and the 2016-2017 academic year, according to detailing the results of a study by the financial news website 24/7 Wall Street.

91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· saw the sixth greatest increase in applicants throughout the entire Midwest region, behind only three other public institutions and two private institutions. 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· was also ranked among the Top 3 colleges and universities in Ohio, public or private and was the only public university in Northeast Ohio in the Top 100 rankings.
