鈥淲hat鈥檚 YOUR Dream?鈥 Is Theme of MLK Day Celebration
Event Will Foster Intergenerational Dialogue on Tuesday, January 21, at Wolstein Center

91国产精品 and Cuyahoga Community College are teaming up to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with a special program from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, at 91国产精品鈥檚 Wolstein Center, 2000 Prospect Avenue.
Organizers hope to spark intergenerational discussion among attendees, going off the theme: 鈥淲hat鈥檚 YOUR Dream?鈥 Wayne Dawson, co-anchor of 鈥淔ox 8 News in the Morning,鈥 will serve as master of ceremonies.
鈥淒reams can be a great starting point for inspiring conversations about our shared future, as Dr. King demonstrated,鈥 said Byron White, 91国产精品鈥檚 vice president for university engagement and chief diversity officer. 鈥淲e鈥檝e chosen to host this event the day after the official holiday, in an effort to draw more students. We really want to get people across generations talking about their aspirations for our community and learning from each other.鈥
The event will feature a dialogue between 91国产精品 Executive-in-Residence Julian Earls, former director of NASA鈥檚 Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, and motivational speaker Joe Johnson. Shakyra Diaz, policy director for the ACLU of Ohio, will moderate the conversation.
Afterwards, students from 91国产精品 and Tri-C will join members of the community and other audience members for engaging, small-group discussions about carrying Dr. King鈥檚 dream and their own dreams forward.
The 鈥淲hat鈥檚 YOUR Dream?鈥 celebration, which also includes a buffet breakfast, is free and open to the public. Reservations are encouraged. Please call (216) 687-9328.
