Graduate Commencement To-Do List:

APPLY FOR GRADUATION

Graduation applications are overdue! Nov. 15, 2024 was the deadline to apply and have your name included in the commencement program. Applications are still accepted but late applicants could be excluded from the commencement program. Don’t delay – submit your application to graduate now!


SUBMIT RSVP TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
(includes name pronunciation)

RSVP webform will open soon. Please check back to submit your RSVP or keep an eye on your emails for RSVP instructions!


PURCHASE REGALIA (Caps and Gowns)

Regalia can be purchased soon in store and online. Please check your emails regularly for ordering information instructions. 

Students should arrive at their commencement ceremony fully dressed in their regalia, which includes:

  • Cap (mortar board) with tassel
  • Gown
  • Hood (doctorate only)
  • Honors medallion (if applicable, undergraduate only)
  • Cords and/or stoles (if applicable, optional)

HONORS MEDALLIONS

Undergraduate students who have earned at least 30 credit hours (excluding alternative credit) in residence at 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· and who have earned a cumulative grade point average between 3.30 and 4.00 (calculated to two decimal places unrounded) are eligible to graduate with the following honors:

  • 3.30-3.59 Cum Laude
  • 3.60-3.79 Magna Cum Laude
  • 3.80-4.00 Summa Cum Laude

Eligible students will receive notification via email with pick-up instructions. If you are unable to pick up your medallion by Friday, May 9, there will be an honors medallion station at the Commencement ceremony once you enter via Gate C. You must be on the list to receive your medallion.
