The Mathilde Jane Gutow Endowed Scholarship, funded by her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Thomas Hopkins, honors her memory and offers 91¹ú²ú¾«Æ· students who have aged out of the foster care system the opportunity to follow her example and live meaningful and satisfying lives.
The Mathilde Jane Gutow Endowed Scholarship supports the higher education aspirations of former foster care students like Jane by helping them overcome the significant challenges they face as newly independent adults striving to earn their degree.
Eligibility
A GPA of 2.5 or Higher
Touched by or aged out of the foster care system
Maintain minimum of 6 credits
Responsibilities
Participate in scheduled Pratt Center – Fostering Success and Leadership Program activities, events and programs
Maintain an overall 2.5 Grade Point Average, or higher
Attend all classes and complete all course requirements
