Registration Holds

Various holds on your student account may prevent you from registering for your classes. Please see the below list of common registration holds and solutions to assist you with registering for your courses.

Combined Class is Full

Contact the department offering the course to discuss options or to be placed on a waitlist. Departments can grant electronic course permission, so you do not need to be on campus to obtain course permission.

Department Consent Required to Enroll in Class, Add Not Processed

Contact the instructor or department offering the course to determine if consent is granted. Departments can grant electronic course permission, so you do not need to be on campus to obtain course permission.

Drop Enrollment Not Allowed, Co-Requisites Exist

Students must visit All-in-1 in order to register or drop courses that require concurrent enrollment.

Duplicate Enrollment for the Same Class

If you are registering for two topics courses (each course covers a different topic) and the courses have the same course prefix and number, you must visit All-in-1 in order to register for the courses concurrently.

Enrollment is Not Allowed for this Class: It is Outside the Student鈥檚 Career of Study

Undergraduate students may only take courses up to the 400-level.  Seniors may take 500-level courses if they meet certain criteria set by the College of Graduate Studies. Visit All-in-1 if you feel you meet the criteria set by the College of Graduate Studies.

Hold on Student鈥檚 Record, Add not Processed

You must contact the office which placed the hold on the student鈥檚 record to have it removed.

Maximum Term Student Unit Load Exceeded

Please contact your Academic Advising office to obtain permission to take any courses which exceeds the standard full-time credit load.

Requisites Not Met for Class, Not Enrolled

Please contact All-in-1 or your Academic Advising office to determine if requisites have been met for you to enroll in the course.

Student Not Enrolled, Class is Full

Time Scheduling Conflict, Student Not Enrolled in Class

Student must obtain written permission from both instructors and submit to All-in-1 in order to be registered for the two courses.
